Mr. Tiley has taken on a new project with his organic farm at Marshfield on the Wiltshire/South Glos. Border.
Planting a legume & herb rich mixture GS4 supplied by St Catherine’s Seeds into an existing organic grass mixture.
Local contractor Mr. T. Bravin is using his specialist Grass Seed Direct Drill (VREDO DRILL) with 75mm seed spacing to drill into a moist seed bed, ideal for getting this herbal meadow mixture established.
The previous organic silage crop was taken off as short as possible and the new crop sown direct within a couple of days.
